A One-Night Culinary Collaboration: TAKU x Planque

On 20th August, TAKU hosted an extraordinary four-hands dinner with Planque, a renowned wine restaurant serving Modern British cuisine. Chef Long Ng joined forces with Planque’s Chef Sebastian Myers, whose skill in drawing out the delicate flavours of each ingredient created a perfect fusion of Modern British and Japanese cuisine in a true Omakase style.

The exclusive 17-course menu was paired with six exquisite glasses of wine and sake, enhancing each dish’s flavour journey. Guests enjoyed standout dishes like Scallop and Caviar Tart, Grilled Sweetbreads, and Lobster Rice. The evening ended on a high note with Red Plum Sorbet and Pineapple Rum Crepe, leaving a lasting impression of culinary artistry.
